Q.How do I create screenshots?
A. Press the print scrn button next to the F12 button, open paint and click on edit then click paste.
Q.Some chords don't work.
A. It's the keyboard. Use 12345 or edit the song so there isn't any of those chords.
Q.When I miss a note the whole song stops.
A. You need a song.ogg file. Copy the guitar.ogg and rename the copy song.ogg
Q.How do I add songs?
A. Open data, go to songs and paste the custom song.
Q.How do you open a .rar file?
A. use winRAR download
Q.What does frets only mean?
A. It is a notes only file. Their isn't any music (ogg) files in it.
Q.What does it mean when the notes have a dot on them?
A. They are called hammer ons and pull offs. They don't need to be strumed.
Q.How do you use a PS2 GH controller?
A. Get a USB to PS2 adapter.red octane's adapter
Q.How do you delete the highscores?
A. Go to the songs folder, click on the song.ini. Delete all the numbers and letters in the "scores=" but leave the "scores=".
Q.Can I use my Xbox 360 controller?
A. Yes you can. As you can see the controller is a usb hookup. You just need to download a driver thats on the microsoft website. download driver
Q.Why is the game so slow(also called lag)?
A. You have to update your video card drivers.
Q.I get an error: Sound buffer size must be between 2 and 134217727

A. It is the wrong value in your fretsonfire.ini.
-Start > Run > %appdata%
-Locate the fretsonfire folder and open it.
-Open the fretsonfire.ini file
-Find the value buffersize and change the value after the equation mark to 4096.
Q. How do I change note colors?
A. Open the fretsonfire.ini and under [theme] change the colors
